Adult Day Care

• Open Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 5pm

• Provide cognitive stimulation, which are memory activities to stimulate the mind

• Provide spiritual, mental, and physical stimulation

• Provide daily activates such as devotion, arts and crafts, pet therapy, exercise, and relaxation, weekly vital signs

• Assist with activities of daily living such as toileting, transferring, walking, feeding, and dressing

• Provide two snacks and one meal
  

• Transportation is provided through Carter Care-a-Van, Shuttle Shuttle Shuttle, and family members.

The purpose of the day center is to provide an environment of activities and stimulation during the day for elderly and disabled who should not be left at home alone.

We cater to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, Parkinson’s disease, strokes, and depression.

We are a licensed facility by the State of Tennessee
We are a social/medical model with a Register Nurse as the Executive Director

Benefits of Utilizing an Adult Day Center

4. Decrease early admission into institutions such as an assisted living or nursing home, which range from 1500.00 for assisted living to 3500.00 for nursing homes per month.

Services
We are licensed by the State of Mental Health to provide the following services in the home.

In-Home Respite Care-Respite Care is a service for those caregivers who need a break.  Our personal care techs will come to your home and provide assistance for your loved one for up to 8 hours. 

Personal Care-Personal Care is a service to help those that want to stay in their home and need assistance with at least 2 ADLs such as bathing.   We will come into your home to bathe you, wash your hair, saving, clean your tub, dressing, and make your bed.

Homemaker Service-Homemaker Service is to help those that wish to stay in their home and need assistant with cleaning their home, which includes laundry, purchasing groceries, preparing light meals.

Personal Care Attendant-Personal Care Tech will provide assistance with homemaker services as well as personal care services for a length of time of 4 hours or more.
